Philadelphians deserve good wages and an economy that works for all, not just the wealthy and well-connected. That’s why I won COVID-19 paid sick leave for all frontline workers and it’s why I will continue fighting alongside my brothers and sisters in the labor movement to guarantee that all Philadelphians have access to a good paying union job, strong benefits, and safe working conditions.

Fighting for workers also means addressing corporate greed head on. In the City Council, I’ve fought hard to make the ultra-rich pay their fair share so that working families aren’t shouldering our city’s tax burden. And I’ve won millions of dollars in funding for the public services our communities need to thrive: public schools, libraries, parks and rec centers, public transit, job programs, mental health services, and more.
